Port Austin Run

8 K Run     2 Mile Run     2 Mile Walk

Held at Gallup Park, Located just off M-25, 1/2 mile west of the stop-light in Port Austin, MI

Race begins at 8:30 a.m.  Registration is from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m.

Fee: Before July 2 - $15.  After July 2 -  $20.  Child (any age) of participant is 1/2 price.  ($7.50 or

   $10.00)   High School Student Athletes - $12.00 before July 2, $15.00 after July 2.  This price

   includes a specially designed, colored T-shirt.  If no t-shirt is desired, fee is $5 less.

Course:  The scenic 8K includes both village and rural roads, about 50/50 paved and gravel.  The

   2 mile is all paved, much of it shaded, village streets.  Water stations provided for both courses.

Awards: Trophies to overall male & female winner of each race.  Medals to top 3 in each age

   group.

Age Groups:

   2 Mile Walk:  *8 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 - 79, 80 - 89, 90 & up

   2 Mile Run:  10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up

   8K Run:  14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30 34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & up

*Note: Children age seven and under must register for the 2 Mile Run, where they can either run

or walk.

Formerly known as the Port Austin Run for YFC this race benefits BluewaterThumb Youth for

Christ and their ministry to area youth.
